About Our Library

The Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library is a municipal library that provides materials and information services  to residents in the City of DeWitt and rural Clinton County. Additionally, the Frances Banta Waggoner Community Library contracts with the following cities to provide library & information services to the following cities: Charlotte, Delmar, Goose Lake, Grand Mound, Low Moor, and Welton.

The library is typically closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, and Christmas Day. This is subject to change from year to year.
