Use a Library Laptop or Chromebook!
The library now offers laptops for patrons to sign out and use anywhere in the library.

How It Works:
Patrons may request a laptop for checkout at the front desk: laptops MUST be kept in the building, but may be used anywhere within the library for one hour. (If, at the end of your hour, no one else is waiting to use a laptop, up to one further hour may be permitted.)
To use a laptop, a patron must produce a state-issued photo ID. Staff will hold onto the ID and return it to the library user when the laptop and accessories are returned to the desk.
What is Provided:
At checkout, you will be provided with one laptop and the matching power cord. Please note that the laptops are intended primarily for internet use, and are NOT currently equipped with desktop programs for offline work (such as the creation of spreadsheets or slideshow presentations).
The library is also NOT currently able to provide the following: headphones, mouse, stylus, USB drive, or any connector/adapter to an external device.
Printing from each laptop is available via our HotSpot.
Who is Eligible:
Patrons must also be at least 15 years old, and able to provide a state-recognized photo ID at the time of laptop checkout.
