Library Programs and Events for Teens
Library events and programs designed especially for teens are scheduled throughout the year: just click any link below to learn more!
The library also offers occasional unique, one-time events for teens; click here to stay up to date with current offerings. Any special events will also be publicized on our calendar, on our facebook page, and in the DeWitt Observer. You can also sign up for our monthly email newsletter, which includes our upcoming calendar.
For more information about all of the teen and young adult services and materials offered daily at the library, check out 'More Library Services'.
Meeting monthly during the school year with weekly meetings during the summer, Teen Book Club is a great place to discuss your new finds (good, bad, or otherwise) with other bibliophiles. Games and refreshments also provided.
Open to students in grades 7-12.
Twice a year, get the chance to win great prizes just for reading! Summer Reading Program kicks off in June, and Winter Reading Program begins in January; both programs run for two months. Teen reading logs will be available at the front desk, so join in and help promote reading in your family (or challenge yourself just for fun)!
For more information, stop by the library, or look for the tab at the top of the Teen homepage whenever a Reading Program is underway!
